Xenadrine...?

Wondering...
I started taking Xenadrine 2 days ago, and on a half dosage. I haven't really felt any side effects, I don't think...the only odd things have been that I drink a lot more (water), late at night I can feel awful weak/faint, and I have spurts of energy that arise throughout the day. However, these might be attributed my having started my period recently.
So I'd have to say it's going pretty well. Hard to judge after only 2 days, though.
I am concerned about something, and that is that I have epilepsy. I haven't had any seizures since I started the drug, so I can't see it affecting anything. I'm wondering what affect Xenadrine (without Ephedra) has on the brain (!) or liver, and how it would affect the efficiency of a precription drug.

wow, that sounds like a serious question, one not meant for a forum, probably a doctor..

Just a few quick notes:
1. Xenadrine isn't a drug.
2. Xenadrine is based off of 3 main ingredients: bitter orange extract (synephrine), caffeine, and noramboline
3. The main way in which it affects your brain is the caffeine - which causes you to release the hormone epinephrine (adrenaline). This is how caffeine works and is the closest thing that comes to a drug in xenadrine.
4. The main side effect of stimulant thermogenics like xenadrine is increased blood pressure due primarily to the fact that it's increasing your heart rate. If you have a history of high blood pressure or have heart issues, you can experience problems like Bechkamsgirl. They talk about this on the packaging. If you're taking an MAOI inhibitor (antidepressant) many supplements have contraindications - also on the label.
5. If you're concerned about these effects, ask your doctor (though be warned that doctors know monstrously little about nutrition)
6. Finally, stimulant thermogenics are generally safe. If you can handle large amounts of caffeine, you should be able to handle xenadrine as well.

don't mess with any supplements if you are not in good health. it is a good thing that you are drinking a lot more water. especially if u're working out for longer periods of time you will be losing a lot of your body water through sweat. i've always been told that if you take any supplements that you should greatly increase your water intake. drinking too much water never hurt anybody.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!
