hey! has anyone tried drinking wulong tea to help with weight loss? I've been reading some websites about it but i'm not sure i actually believe it.

Wulong tea?

I was reading where Wulong tea was suppose to help you lose weight. I was wondering if anyone has tired it. I was thinking of maybe getting a box to try.

I read this some where too...maybe it was here...can't remember. I never did get around to ordering it, but if you do I'd love to hear about it.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the tea that Oprah endorsed or discussed on her show once, right?

ya, it was on Oprah and 60 minutes. I was going to order a box today to see how I liked it and such. The more I think about doing it the more I want to try it out for myself.

I'm pretty much a sucker for anything Oprah says works...lol. Honestly I just forgot about it. I'm so ADD sometimes!

Awesome! Please let me know what you think of it once you've received it and drank it for a while. Best of luck with it!!! :)

Chinese Teas, any good?

Everybody knows that green tea is healthy, has antioxidants and can help with weight loss and so forth.
But there is this new "super secret" and "extremely rare" tea now called Wu-Long that supposedly does all the green tea stuff, only way better.

They promise 120% more calories burned, better skin, melt the pounds away, yadda yadda.

Anybody have any diet stories about fancy Chinese herbs and teas?

Anybody dieted with green tea or even this Wu-Long stuff?

That's weird, I had done a search for this tea in the forums before posting the question. Now all of a sudden I see a Wulong thread started the same day I posted this! I didn't even see it.
But in any case, this lively discussion of it can continue in that thread.

I totally will. I should be getting it Tuesday so I'll start drinking a cup a day on Wendsday..I'll keep you guys posted to see if it helps or not.

I used to drink the Oolong tea (same thing?). Was very tasty as plain tea goes. But pretty high in caffiene. Might work as an appetite supressant on that basis alone. Hard to go wrong with tea. No calories (unless you sugar it up), and full of antioxidants.

wulong tea & fatsmash diet!!!

:) i just ordered the tea!!! has anyone tried it yet??? I'm so excited!!! the fatsmash diet was very hard the first day-but i got through it! Now it's time for day 2!!! YAY:p :p :p

Wulong and Oolong are different! Anyway, I got the tea and will start drinking it today. I'm hoping for good results, will keep you posted!

Hey you all people are selling what they swear is Wulong on eBay. I'm curious if it is, if there is anyone who trusts me I'd be happy to send what I got to someone who has the expensive and they can do a taste test. Maybe we can get it Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper if its the same thing. What I got tastes bascially like a black tea and its a black like dried up leaf. What does yours taste like?

It looks like mine and tastes like mine too. My tea makes me have to pee like I have never peed before! It's horrible having to pee in class so I'm going to drink it at night after class.

Wulong and Oolong tea are the same thing. :) "Wulong" is the Chinese pronounciation for "Oolong". :)

Any types of Teas are just good for weight loss, since caffeine increases metabolism, and somehow also acts as an appetite suppressant... Just that I'm too used to drinking tea with sugar. >_<
