Would like some help!

Ok currently im sitting between 85-90kg, im 5"10 and i have a broad shoulder build. Over the last 3 years ive stopped sports for work and study and I have become overweight because of this. Life has also been hard and junk food has become a big thing in my life as when you get home your just too tired. When i was 18 (im currently 21) i was only 70-74 kg at worst and 5"9 when I was playing soccer. I also had a 6pack and my body fat was very minor.

Now im starting a fitness routine that i will be doing 7/7 nights at 8:30 each night if possible. Of course things get in the way and may miss a night or 2. The routine consists of:


1 Run around the block (approx 15-20 minutes/around 1.5km+)
3sets of 10reps of lifting 40-50kg bar as if i was doing pull ups.
Then another run around the block (approximately 15-20 minutes/around 1.5km+)
25 Pushups
25 Situps
25 Pushups
25 Situps

Now on top of this i have bought allot of fruit and healthy quick meals for dinner over the next week or two so I dont have to eat any more junk food.

My questions I have that i need help with:

1. Does anyone suggest anything to increase my gains from my routine?
2. Over a few months what gains should I expect from the routine I have stated in this post? Should I see big weight loss and aerobic fitness gains?
3. I dont usually eat anything for breakfast. Maybe a cup of water or cup of juice to get me going before the start of the day. Should I be eating something for breakfast to help my metabolism?
4. What is the best way to get a fast metabolism? Ive read reports and suggested ideas on it but I personally dont know what works!
