Don't know if this thread is made already, but who's excited about the world cup that they want to rape a squirrel?

I know ALLLLL OF EUROPE, especially, f**king love it! It's the biggest event every 4 years!!!!!!

Don't know how you people from the US take it.

Who we playing against anyway?

Mostly just American sports air around here. You have to hunt anything outside of the states. Though I have been catching Rugby 7's out of Colorado! love that sport.
 
If Norway had qualified, I would have considered watching the Norwegian games, but probably not. Football is the most boring sport in the world.. golf is more fun :p

The intrest in football in Norway isn't really related to the Norwegian team.. they have sucked for quite some time now but people still watch the sport. Try womens handball, much better :D
 
I don't know what is more annoying, the sound of those vuvuzela's or the non-appearance of the favorite teams (France, Spain, Brazil England). England's manager Capello's insistence of naming the team 2 hours before kickoff means the players cannot prepare mentally and we will see howlers like the one the goalie made vs USA.

You are right BB (welcome back btw) Those vuvuzela's annoy the **** out of me they should ban them!

The first games are always a bit shakey, just wait for the next games, things will start to take shape ...
 
Even though the French have been **** at least they're having a go at being entertaining. It's like a bloody soap opera; I just want to see if their whole team turns up today.

Also, what odds are Paddy Power giving on the entire North Korean team claiming asylum after their last match? They'll be turned into Pot Noodles if they go home after that 7-0 thumping

Unfortunately that's not so much their fault as ours. We're the mugs that keep pumping our money into the sport with season tickets, TV subscriptions, £40 team kits etc...

Still, if Rooney bags a couple today he can have his £100k a week and free go on any granny in country
 
Well i must say.....a MUCH improved performance last night from England. And well done to the USA, beating us to top the group!

We have the german nazi Hitlers on Sunday whilst the US have got Ghana. Hopefully we will hammer them!!
