Its the summer and I am planning on starting soccer after a long break of laziness, but I am very out of shape (not fat, but not really fit). Luckily, I have a membership for a gym nearby. I am trying to get very serious about getting in shape for the season. What should I do at the gym and how long of it? If someone could give me a plan on what I should do, how many times a week,what exercises on those days, and when resting periods should be would be great . I honestly don't have even the slightest of a clue as to how I should exercise. I really don't want to ask for too much, but I you could give me a plan/routine on how I could prepare for soccer, you would be of so much help! I am willing to do anything to get into shape and better prepare myself for soccer so anything is very well appreciated.
