Workout plan for losing weight

hey guys
I am a 21 year old female and when I was 14 I was diagnosed with a kidney condition, which caused a lot of water retention and weight fluctuation(mainly increase). Larger appetite due to medication side effects, combined with a poor diet and lack of exercise, has resulted in me gaining weight continuously over the past few years. And today I weigh close to 200lbs ( my height is only 5'2)

This has had such a negative impact on my self esteem confidence and generally held me back in so many different ways in life.

A few times I have attempted but failed to lose weight. Not even a few times. More like countless times. But I just can't seem to do it. I have very low levels of self discipline and will power and always go back to old habits.

I have decided I want to lose weight, it's always at the back of mind, and something needs to be done. I plan on starting to go gym. My gym is very basic, and only has treadmills, rowing machines, bikes, and cross trainers. Can anyone help me come up with a work out plan involving these machines and also any other exercises. I feel like structure and organisation will help me greatly, but I just don't know where to begin!

And does anyone have any tips or tricks that could help me. I need to lose around 70lbs

Is this even possible?!

Thank you
J

Hi, we have almost the same weight and height. Me too is looking for more ways to lose at least 20 kilos or more. and I work hard for it. We can be weight loss buddies if you want. I just started going to the gym and simple diet and i lose a few kilos but working harder to lose more. I will try a new diet next week and I will tell you if it works. We can definitely do this! :)

Going to the gym is an excellent start, but it's often one of the hardest to maintain because you need to leave the comfort of your house to do it. While it will make a big difference in your overall health and weight loss goals, focus on nutrition ... portion control and making sure your diet consists of less carbs (grains, etc) and more protein and vegetables. I'm a big proponent of eating food in it's natural form and find that it is the easiest way to eat healthy food that also isn't high in calories.

You should go for a Weight Loss Program where healthcare experts will guide you to loose weight with proper diet plan. Medical weight loss could show magical results.

Work on diet first. I eat more on my diet than I did when I wasn't dieting but I am eating the right foods. You can have as large of an appetite as u want if you are eating lettuce and carrots. The problem with exercise is that it will make you hungrier than ever before and exercise doesn't burn all that many calories any way. You basically have to run 4 miles to burn off 2 cookies you ate which takes around 30 mins for am average jogger. Much easier just to eat a salad and sit on the couch and lose weight just from your heart beating and breathing. Another problem with exercise is that you will gain weight on the scale even if you control your diet.. muscle weighs more than fat. Most people just get discouraged and quit. Don't get me wrong exercise is great.. just not for weight loss. Control your diet first then get in the gym.
