Work out for baseball player?

Hello there, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong form but I just need some help when it comes to working out and what not.

To start off with I'm a 16 year old sophomore (17 June) JV baseball player around 6'1 1/2-6'2 and 173 lbs and the season is JUST starting out. (Were playing a tournament next week in Florida to start off the season) but I'm looking ahead onto my junior senior year when I really want to play varsity baseball, I need to start separating myself from the group (in a good way) to show my varsity coaches that I have everything it takes to be a varsity player because on jv we have 17 players and varsity only carries 15. So your going to have returning seniors (around 4-7) and 17+ guys trying out for 15 spots I just thought I would need to start asap.

In the weight room I basically just follow the pack in what everyone else is doing.. but I really didn't go in there with a plan on like what I needed done and what work outs to do, and the only thing I've really done besides weightlifting is bands to keep my pitching arm good.

I've come here because I want to learn how to have a well designed work out that I can do from now to about a year from now and bulk up. (I feel very weak for the 6'2 173 lb kid I am) and I would just like to be alot more well rounded.

I did take a supplement but haven't resently because I've ran out, does anyone have any ideas on what would be a good one to take that would help me build muscles easier?

If you guys have any more questions feel free to ask, I'm open for anything because this is what I love and I just want to be better at it.

Thanks
~Adam
