jw how some people feel about water fasting. i was thinking about doing it for 2-3 weeks tops. I know some people fast religiously and for diet and was wondering if its a good idea or if there were any serious consequences.
 
I think that it's a terrible idea. Of course you will lose weight but could end up in hospital and for sure the weight would go straight back on as you won't have taught yourself anything about healthy eating. You won't find many people here that would support this idea as this site promotes healthy eating not fad diets and it is working for most of us. Just go into the before and after part of the forum and read how people have succesfully lost weight and maintained the weight loss.
 
Thought so. I've been to that section and the results are amazing. I started a couple months ago eating healthier and exercising and have lost some fat and gained muscle but not as fast as I would like. Ill just stick to it then, thanks.

We all get a bit impatient with our weight loss but if we lose it too fast it won't stay off. This needs to be a life time commitment so needs to be substainable not something that we can only do for days or weeks.
