seasoned only meaning your body is very used to running and won't freak out if you did a little more.
I say it just depends on what you are used to and how frequent you intend to keep that twice a day schedule. If you did that 2 times a week. sure, thats fine. Beyond that you may run into overtraining issues. It also depends on your goals. If its for fat/weight loss you'd be much better off doing one sesson of 30 min HIIT which will put you in fat burning mode beyond what a 30 min tempo run would do. If you plan on just doing 2 tempo runs a day (no change in speed) I think thats a waste of time unless you're training for some sort of endurance race . Train smarter, not harder.
IF you are training for something then 2 times a day a few days a week might be appropriate depending on what your training for. For fitness. no, nix it. HIIT is the way to go.
