I’ve lost 75 lb so far and have 35 lb to go. Most of my skin seems to have gone back without issue, although I do have some more to go, so who knows. The only issue I really have is bingo wings/bat wings, which are very noticeable when I put my arm in the “waving” position. When my arms are positioned normally, they cannot be seen.
However, to me it doesn’t seem like it’s loose skin, because when I grab the wing it’s full of fat, not paper-thin skin. They measure approximately 12.5 inches at the bicep and I’d estimate that there’s 2-3 inches of fat there. I’ve just started strength training in hope of remedying the situation. If I continue to strength train and lose body fat, will these disappear? I’m only eighteen and I’m really worried about having these for the rest of my life. It makes wearing sleeveless tops very difficult and they’re just embarrassing in general.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
