Will running?

k im new here and i have a question... will running/jogging along w/ cleaning up my diet, help me slim down my legs?
 
Short answer: yes.

Long answer: your body does not burn fat in a specific targeted area (example: sit ups does not make a slimmer stomach), this misguided theory is called "spot reduction", however exersice and diet over a period of time will lead to reduced fat over your entire body.
 
Yes. As McCarley says, you can't pinpoint fat... But, running will remove body fat from your entire body. This in turn will slim down your legs. If you are worried about muscular legs, stay away from sprinting and hill climbs. Instead only jog for 40 minutes every other day.
