Sport Will I still need to diet, even at my age?

Sport Fitness
Hi, im a girl, 13 y.o....
Well, I'm actually going to do HIIT. Thing is, im really bad with dieting! So i was wondering, being REALLY active at school, and trying my best to actually be as active as possible, do i STILL have to diet??
Like init i think at my age, i've got a 'faster' metabolism.. So will i still have to diet?
And if i do, can i limit to just a few sweets or junk foods a day?
Thanks:)
Stats: 127pounds, 5''3 and 13 years,... Girl!!

Yes, you still have to diet.

You cannot out train a bad diet.

You should eat properly, but at your age, an actual diet shouldn't be necessary. Just be conservative with how much junk food you eat and make sure to get plenty of fruits and vegetables.

Diet doesn't requires age, all of us could involve ourselves to diet even the babies and the elder ones. There are many factors we should consider to stay healthy, one of it is our diet.

Weight loss diet should be an absolute last resort until reaching adulthood unless it is a medical requirement.
The reason I say this is many calorie cutting diets are badly balanced, dodgy for adults, downright dangerous to youngsters, with possible lifetime effects.
You cannot out-train a bad diet was stated, but you never said you have a bad diet. I eat shed loads of good food and am active enough to burn the lot. At 3 times your age, I can say life has taught me you can train to lose body fat, but diet should be about balance and sense not fads and crashing.

Don't 'diet' as such, eat when you want, and mostly what you want, but think about the foods. You shouldn't really need/ have to lose weight at your age, but try and eat healthy. There are lots of healthy snacks out there.
