do exercise supliments help you lose any weight? or do they posably hold caleries and make you want to eat more? mostly creatine i was looking at
 
creatine won't help you lose weight. So far as I recall it allows your muscles to store more water making them look bigger and be less prone to injury.... but you're storing more water, which is weight.


it does contain calories, but dosage is low enough that you don't need to give them any thought.

Used creatine a few years ago. no noticeable benefit.

It is better to exercise without taking any exercise supplement. Most of these supplement aren't effective, but I know some of it are effective. Just do daily exercise and have a proper diet.
 
The only supplements you really need are:


Omega 3 fish oils / capsules


And possibly a strong multi-vitamin each day.



Other than that, get your daily nutrition sorted and you won't need supplements at all.


As Tourney rightly pointed out, creatine is used by athletes and body-builders to help the muscles retain energy for performance benefits.


As such, creatine CAN help you push harder and do more intense workouts, which would then help you lose weight. But creatine won't DIRECTLY stimulate fat loss.
