Hey whats up everybody I am 26 years old male I am about 6ft 3 and 235 pounds. I guess I am fat according to the bmi calculators and I agree that I do have a belly but I just dont feel that way. I want to drop some weight. What is a good way to do that. I am thinking cardio and a better diet ( I eat bad food in the morning) Any help would be great.

The BMI doesn't seem to be the most accurate measurement. If so a well built muscular guy like Steve (check out his posts) would be considered overweight.

That being said, watching your diet and Cardio should be able to help you get the weight off :)

LOL, steve is fat according to BMI!!!!

*points and laughs* :p

Welll......he does weigh more then his height and bone structure apparently say he SHOULD be.

And, can you believe that guy is in a caloric SURPLUS?

;)

Yes - BMI doesn't take into account your muscle mass.

oh bah - he's just a tub o' lard :) he's managed to get some crazy glue and fashion the extra pudge into some muscles ad then added a shiney coat of shellac :) ya ain't foolin' me none :) it's why he constantly turns down my requests for a AVI file of him flexing :)

I tell ya it's a great scam, he's got his muscles and he can eat too :)

:D

There are body fat tests youc an take but the online ones and the scales are pretty lame if you're really concerned you can be tested at places such as a gym...

Ugh.. I dont know about BMIs but I did a body fat percentage and it says my body fat ratio is 32%!!!!!! That's obese.. I'm really upset.. Im 5 ft 3 and 131 lbs... according to BMI a 'normal weight' Im trying to lose 12lbs at the mo but that still makes me overweight by the fat % index.. have I worked it out wrong? What do people think? It's really got under my skin.. xxx

I haven't had a test, but I've been told a "normal" body fat percentage for a woman is between 21 - 33%, which puts you within the normal range.
