A pound of Fat weighs just as much as a pound of Muscle! The density may be different and even though density and weight are related, they are different. It drives me crazy when people say that. Maybe I'm the crazy one, what do you think?

Density = mass(weight)/volume

Because they are thinking in terms of volume. If you are only comparing weight, of course they weigh the same! But if you think about a pound of fat and compare how that would look like vs a pound of muscle (again, think in terms of volume) they are very different.

Case in point;
