Sport why cottege cheese?

i was wondering u guys always go one and on about cottege cheese seem like all of u eat it all the time, why?? whats so good about it and is it really that good for u? :confused:
 
good source of protein, low in fat, low in carbs, and loaded with glutamine.

and, its damn cheap.
 
not great when the university's salad bar charges by weight.

Cottage cheese is 13g of casein protein per 1/2 cp.

About 2.5g fat and I think 1-2g carbs.

And it satiates the belly nicely.
 
And just to add on Cynic's comment, the casein makes a nice evening meal before bed. Casein is a slow digesting ingredient that does NOT spike the insulin levels :)
 
I dont care if its the womens forum lol. I started my serious diet plan a few months ago but never ate this stuff! Got some today, and its darn good! Hope its as healthy as you say, because im going to be eating it a lot
 
Just one word to the wise: Never get fat free cottage cheese. I was left with no other choice but to dump a full container full out my dorm window after eating one spoonfull.

why not? i eat fat free i like it...

and to gross u out, i scramble some eggs eat them with tuna fish and cottege cheese-non fat all togater w/ some salad too
