why choose that username

why did you guys choose some of your usernames?....whats the reasoning or meaning behind it?.....always been curious?

mine is pretty easy "danny" because my name is dan lol

Mine is easy, too. I love muscle because it looks much better than fat :)

email didn't exist when I was 10.

Just what I was thinking :)

I chose my name as I have serious anger management issues and have been know to cause a lot of needless destruction

I'm a nice guy really though, just make sure you say thank you if I ever hold a door open for you ;)

Karky .. When I was a kid I was a fan of DBZ (lame, I know, over NINE THOUSAAAAAND!! I know, etc..) and I called myself "Kakarot" or "Kakarotto" everywhere. It lead to people shortening it as "kak" or "kaka" then once this other dude just made the name into "karky" I know it doesn't make sense, since it's not like a direct shortening, but that's how the name was born.

Also I was a dork when I was a kid....

In my case i chose a wild & buccaneering name but in real life I'm anything but wild & buccaneering. I just mustered courage to start working out recently. Maybe online, one can be wild and notorious but in real boring and normal?

I love cars, and my first car was a 91 Lincoln Mark VII...put lots of blood, sweat, and tears into that thing. Anyways, MarkMyWords was a screenname of a member on a site I used to visit a lot, and I always thought it was pretty cool.

Plus it's like a cliche saying, ya know...mark my words, I'ma whoop yo ass!

i know most people will look at my name and think I'm into functional training. not quite. The train refers to an an actual train and goes to my philosophy for training myself and others (something I was taught at an internship). A train is a massive, fast, and powerful machine, and with the right amount of fuel, can be pretty unstoppable. But unlike a train, I can stop and go at the drop of a hat. I can turn 180 degrees without missing a beat, so hence " a functional train." All i have to do now is learn how to fly off the tracks...and come after you.

haha! You have no idea how sceptical I was of you when you first started posting here! All just because of your name. I figured you were into the modern "functional training". I say modern because I think that when functional training first came it was used as a term for squats, deadlifts, etc.

Haha, same here, I was thinking that you were one of those 'stand on one leg, on a bosu ball and do curls' guys

haha, I used to visit a guitar forum when I first started here so this made perfect sense to me.

I like CCR they rocked

I figured I'd get those responses, and I don't blame you. Karks, Typhon...now you know. Although I did purchase a BOSU ball for my wife, but I use to it to throw medicine balls at (I need one of those MB trampolines).

I'll 2nd Gooch's post as well.
