Why are some workouts harder than others?

I run 3 miles a day on a treadmill. I set the speed to 5mph and the incline usually to about 6 for the first mile then 1.5 for the rest for some reason some days my workout is just so much harder than others, some days i actually have to slow down to about 4mph and other days i am speeding up. Whats going on here?

Also although this has only happened twice but for some reason every so often after my workout i become very dizzy and cant even see straight what could be causing this? I usually workout at around 3:00pm and i dont eat but one meal a day. Am I doing wrong?

you need to rest ... i get the same dizzy feeling if i do more than 4 spin classes a week, its anoying to have to slow down but u really should listen to your body and have a rest day ... good luck :)

In one of her videos, Karen Voight says something like - some days you'll fel stronger than others, just work with your body.

Classic signs of not eating enough... One meal a day - there's your problem. Eat 5 medium meals a day, say 400 calories per meal at 2000 total. Eat complex carbs, drink plenty of water, and don't work out hungry. In general if you stop eating your bodies metabolism is going to slow down; back in the day I would eat two meals a day, and be full. These days with my high energy workouts and my pumping metabolism, I'm starving within 2 hours of a 500 calories meal.

So in conclusion: YOU NEED TO EAT MORE if you want to loose / manage weight (and workout!)
