Sport Why are do we get hungry?

I don't understand.

If you get all the required stuff daily, then why do we still get hungry?

Is it okay for me to eat something small that is pretty high in like calories, without eating something very big?
 
High process foods cause insulin spikes but the food gets digested before the insulin level returns to normal and while its still at an elevated state the insulin wants something to do, so it tell our brains to stuff some food in our faces.

That's putting it simply, that why insulin control is very important in weight management.
