i'm new to this forum, checked out the threads, it's awesome!
but i was wondering if someone could help me out on an individual basis.. this is a long post so i apologize.. please bear with me..
i'm a 24 yo female, about 5'6" and 3 months ago my weight was 142 lb, 28% body fat.
i started going to the gym about an hour a day, doing cardio 4-5 days a week, weights 4x/week and dropped to 26.7% body fat but up to 142.5 lb!
so i got the lose-it app on my iphone, i;ve been tracking my cals and everything, upped my gym time to 20 min stairmaster, 35 min elliptical 6 days a week, about 35 min of weights 5 days a week, alternating upper body and lower body. but nothing has changed though i'm restricting my net calories to 1300 a day.
what's going on? i admit i eat some stuff like pizza once in a while and a small piece of chocolate everyday (about 60 cals) so i don't go insane, but whatever i eat stays within my 1300 cals. mostly, though, my daily menu is a mixture of cereal, milk, tofu, veggies, fruit, cottage cheese, chicken - a lot of protein stuff. why am i stuck and not moving anywhere? i'm not fat by any means, but i'd really like to get rid of the fat on my hips, thighs and stomach. anyone got any ideas what i'm doing wrong? thanks for the help in advance
