Whudd Upp Everyone!

Hey, how you all doing? I registered to this site for information, opinions, and a chance to meet people who have gone through life changes, but I did have my doubts. This has been the best experience I have ever went through. Everyone here seems to be so informative, inspirational, and always willing to give what people need to know. Its what motivates me and I would like to say that I have learned so much so far. I have been so impressed with people on here who have set there goals, met them, and succeeded. As well as those who have set goals, and are in the works of meeting them. And the support from others has just been amazing. Proud to be here, and hoping I can become another success story. I'm more than willing to share my thoughts with others, as well as listen to those who can provide some for me. That being said, I would like to introduce myself.

My names Mike.. I am 18 years old. I'm 6', and 280 lbs. Yeah I'm a pretty big guy. My goal to reach is to use what I have now, and make muscle out of it, produce some definition, and get healthy. Something that I have always been proud of is that I have a big body frame. This is something I have always wanted to do, but there was nowhere for me to go to learn. Now that I've found that, I am going to make a differance for myself.

I have been in and out of working out. Mostly because I had no idea what I was doing. Everytime I'de walk into a gym I've seen people just bench pressing, and I would look at some of the machines, eventhough knowing how to work em', didn't have the famous idea of what they did or how effective they were. This is what I am hoping to get out of here. I purchased a punching bag about 4 years ago, and I have been obsessed with it. Other than that my cardio has been down to a minimum, and I do bench at home, but thats about as far as I go. I was just given a 2 week pass to Ballys, and after that I am getting a membership. My brother is 24, and he is more than willing to help me out, as he has offered many times before, but I would just blow him off. He has been working out for nearly 5 years now. He has the big arms, big shoulders, 6 pac n' the whole nine yards. Its almost like how the hell he can be like that, and I'm like this, but thats why I'm here, and I'm going to change that. I'm in the process of creating excel sheets for workout routines, dieting, and recording everything I consume, or I should consume for the day.
