Hi all

I am getting new pimples each week and it's very annoying.

Working as a field sales rep, I travel 4 days a week and most of the food I eat are mcdolands, kfc and subway. I have a cup of coffee once a week and it's the fried food that's probably causing it.

Maybe I need to change my eating habits! Anyone having problems?

YES, ME! But my problem is probably hormonal, says my aesthetitian--AND hereditary :( I think Chinese medicine has a whole list of stuff NOT to eat to solve the problem, whether it's effective? Try and let me know!!

From the research I've seen, acne has little to do with diet. Even if it does though, you shouldn't be eating that food anyhow. You could pack your own lunch.

I saw an interesting thing on another forum with regards to acne. Someone said apple cider vinegar is helping a lot of people.... but that's hearsay. :)

Acne is hereditary, hormonal, and bacterial. If your hormones balance out, you could still get acne because of the bacteria. There are anti-biotics that you can take. No matter what, there is bacteria in acne, and without taking care of that, it will be very difficult (i hesitate in saying impossible) to get rid of it.
I had bad acne last winter due to stress, and the antibiotics paired a good facial regimine while balancing my stress helped it to go away.

Acne

Acne is not caused by diet, but stress and hormones (that time of the month) can trigger it. If your getting it along your jawline and chin then it is probably hereditary. I swear by ProActiv Solution. It won't end the problem completly but it will make a huge difference. Also the pimples you do get will progress quickly and heal well.

Good Luck!

If you try proactive, beware. I tried it when I ws 18, and it made things WORSE to the point where it HURT. I know many others who had the same experience. Your best bet is to go to a dermotologist.

Drinking lots of water everyday has washed away my acne.
But it's my own experience of course, everyone's different.
