Whodini's Diary of a "Loser"

I am finally getting around to doing this "diary thing". Yeah!!! :p

I figured I'd start by answering the questions and go from there.


-- How much weight do you want to lose? I think my goal weight is @ 135#... although I haven't been that small since my 1st child was born, 23 years ago!!! :eek: That means I have to lose 64.5#.

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? I started this round of weight loss on October 1st, 2005. My hope is to be at goal by March 1st, 2006.

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? I am currently using the Isagenix Cleansing System. I also walk on the treadmill 5 days a week or more, and soon hope to start using our Crossbar.

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? My Hubby, Dave, is a fantastic support person. He is doing it with me! I went into this knowing that men tend to lose faster, so we aren't competing against each other. Just inspiring.

-- How realistic is your goal? I am hoping it to be very realistic as far as loosing... it's the "maintaining" I fear!!!

-- When will you start? We both started October 1st. We had a cruise coming up to use as our initial inspiration. I want to wear a bathing suit (1 piece) and not feel like a whale! After that, we will be going to Mazatlan in April... maybe that will be a "Bikini Trip"???

The kids are up from naptime... gotta go!

Thanks, Newbride!!! I just might have to take you up on that real soon!:eek:

DH & I are leaving Saturday for our cruise, and I am getting scared. SO MUCH FOOD! ALL DAY LONG! ALL FREE!!!!!:eek: With the final Challenge weigh-in on Tuesday, I am hoping I will stay on track... use the gym... walk a lot!!!

Today was ok. Not great, as I ate 1/2 a bologna sandwich.:mad:

I tried to make up for it on the treadmill, but don't know what it will do in the long run.:(

Tomorrow will be crazy with all the kids here, as well as getting ready for the trip... wish me better eating for tomorrow!!!
 
Oh have a great time on your cruise :) I love cruises I understand with all the food, and it's all so good. You'll do great and just think when you get back you get to step it up a gear and get ready for April and that bikini :)
 
Thanks for the vote of confidence. :eek: I think it will help that Hubby is on the "Train to Thinville" with me!! That way we can both keep each other "on track". LOL! :p

This morning has already started "crazy"... at least I only have 4 kids today. We will be going to the store soon, gotta buy a new suitcase. The old one smells kinda musty! Go to the bank, get another house key made... etc... etc! Whew! No time to think about food today!!!! We leave tomorrow morning - I will try to post before we leave.

I wrote the web address to this forum to take with me so I can check in on Tuesday (at least) for the final weigh in of the challenge.:rolleyes:
