Who want's to win some reps?

All you have to do is find a article or something on anything related to fitness. The trick is though; I have to learn something new.

I'll post in here the fact (try to be specific as possible; most people will know general ideas) I did not know.
Go for it :)

The common notion that "excess protein will be peed out" is wrong. Protein is subjective to body needs just as fat and carbs are. If the body does not see a use for protein at the time it will either through gluconeogenesis or lipogenesis be converted to carbs or fat, respectively.

^^^Actually knew that but I didn't know this:

Protein is not excreted into the urine. Through a process called "deamination" nitrogen is extracted from protein to create "Urea". Urea is then bathed in water in the body for extraction through the urine. For protein to be used by the body,by any means, the process of deamination must first occur. This is where the "idea" that protein is peed out came from.

You cant possibly know all the mental sides of training and dieting, and associated emotions---and the many applications on how to handle them..............Case closed (this is WITHIN training and dieting or fitness if you will)

The Chill Log Integrity for the mental side of Fitness deserves a rep.......LOL

Specific things I did not know. I'm looking for specific facts like the one silent (or trevor..) posted. I think everyone knows that training and dieting is part mental.

Just wanted to remind you again to view .
One of the best sites I'm aware of for basic exercise physiology. Helped me alot in the beginning of my studies on the subject.

I'd recommend a set of 12 reps in front followed by 12 from behind
