Your own personal record or PR for short. Lets use this thread to record personal bests in things we are either trying to do or avoid. If you want to stay away from soda, post the goal and update that pos with your results. If you have a soda no problem. Start the count over and add your PR of how many days you made it so you can beat that PR.

We can compete against one another and ourselves at the same time.

I'll start with a few of my own goals.

Drink no calories: Days completed 0 PR 4 (excludes meal replacements and fresh squeezed juice)

Drink no alcohol: Days completed 0 PR 4

Exercise daily: Days completed 5 PR 5

2,000 - 2,400 calories a day: Days Completed 4 PR 4

Hit all 4 above goals: Days Completed 0 PR 3

Now for me these are recent PRs as I don't remember how long I've managed these things in the past. Feel free to use an all time PR if you like. Lets see how many PRs of 7 we can have by next week!

Don't want to participate? That's fine, but it will hurt this baby otter's feelings.

I'm batting 500 for day one. No alcohol and within my calories, but I didn't exercise and I had a soda with dinner. I have some root beers at the house and I decided I would let myself drink them if it was within my calories. I won't buy more so the no calories drank thing will start up soon enough. Not exercising was the biggest thing I missed. I just did not think about it honestly. I'll make an effort to remember tonight.

I hope you found success on your first day San and AthalaRanger!

Since yesterday I was under the influence of a birthday cake, today was, pretty much, my first day.

I'm sitting at 900 calories at the moment, with 22g of carbohydrates and only 4g below my fiber goal.

I delayed my yoga session quite a bit, but I eventually did it.

As for the resistance training and cardio, I'm skipping those for today.

I'll edit my other post with the progress. Good luck to both of you. :)

Flunked on the coffee, easily succeeded on the calories. Was at work today, which always means loads of coffee. *sigh*

I drink a lot of coffee at work too San. I drink mine black so at least there aren't any calorie issues, but I still should drink less.

I drank no calories, no alchohol, exercised, and stayed under my calories yesterday. This is my first day to do all of my goals.

I've been struggling to find myself to floss every night. It's never consistent because I end up falling asleep an hour before my bed time. I wake up realizing I haven't brushed or flossed so I'd get up and just brush and head back to sleep. Just hop onto bed already.

Challenge: Floss every night
Day: 1
PR: 1

I've deleted my fiber goal and changed another, as they are no longer relevant with the path I'm taking.

I did some yoga today, but I haven't been able to keep a consistent schedule. I think I've lost some of the "conditioning" I had, justly because I stopped for a while and then I started on and off.

Migth be that, or I need to stop trying to do the stuff fasted. Could be both, too...

Great job yesterday, Quercus. :)

Consume 40g+ of fiber each day- Days completed: PR:

Glad to see others joining in, but we need some updates.

I failed at hitting my 5th day in a row of exercise, but now I have a new PR goal of 5. The rest is going well despite what my scale tells me.

In regards to the eating part (Aka 'diet'), it is going very well so far. Exercise... acceptable. Not good, but not utterly bad, either.

I've changed to cardio goal to 'optional', and deleted the time requirement.

I'm still having troubles being consistent. Did yoga two times yesterday, and did a short, intense cardio workout today.

Haven't done any resistance training yet. The few times I've tried it, I was trying to go to failure. That's not bad per se, but it's extremely devastating on the willpower, so I can't keep at it for too long, and need to use some time 'preparing' (Or, convincing) myself to do it again.

I suppose I'll use a more sensible approach whenever I finish 'persuading' myself.

Good luck everybody.

I added a meet all 4 goals PR and I will hit that one every day until Thanksgiving (11/28). 10 days at 1,800 calories, exercising, drinking no alcohol, and drinking no calories.

New PRs for me. Drinking and exercise are at 4 and calories and food are at 3. The scale is cooperating with my efforts nicely so far.
