Which Protein Supplement....

anything from the major brands will get the job done. optimum nutrition is probably the most popular. other brands like universal, next proteins, eas, dymatize are good also

avoid muscletech. overpriced and overhyped

so far i've used Optimum Nutrition and Designer Whey

Optimum Nutrition (cookie and cream) - i don't like the taste for me it taste nasty. When i add glutamine to it, it seems to taste better.

Designer Whey (strawberry) - taste good way better than the one above.

if you're training hard 1 scope of ON's is better than Designer Whey i think.

yea, stay away from the cookies and creme

Ingredients: Protein blend (whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, and whey peptides), natural & artificial flavor, cookie crumbs (enriched flour [wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid], sugar, palm and palm kernel oil, cocoa processed with alkali, high fructose corn syrup, corn flour, salt, dextrose, sodium bicarbonate, soya lecithin), gum blend (cellulose gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan), lecithin, salt, acesulfame potassium, sucralose.

I tried Nitro Tech and didn't care for it at all. First of all it's way to overpriced. Secondly, I had the strawberry flavor and it made me sick to my stomach everytime I drank it. I ended up throwing a good quarter of a 5 lb jug out. Right now I am using EAS MyoPro and it tastes real good and a 6lb jug was only like 25 bucks at GNC.

ooo..

wait why stay away from cookie and creme? or whats bad about the ingredients. i just thought it taste bad lol..

When i drink the Cookie and creme i feel like throwing up sometimes too but i never did, sometimes i would get a dab of peanut butter to kill the taste

i just ordered ON's Chocalate and EAS Myopro Strawberry. I hope those 2 are good tasting

shoot, i forgot to post the rest of it. :(

this is the ingredients label for the double rich chocolate

Ingredients: Protein blend (whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, and whey peptides), cocoa, artificial flavor, lecithin, acesulfame potassium.

nice and simple. when you see the term "enriched" and high fructose corn syrup in the ingredient list for anything, go in the opposite direction. some claim these are some of the reasons we have so many health problems now as compared to years gone by.

what i dont like is that if you look at the ingredient list

Ingredients: Whey protein concentrate (providing di-, tri-, oligo-, and polypeptides), cocoa powder (dutch process), whey protein isolate (ion-exchanged 97% purity), natural and artificial flavors, partially hydrolyzed whey protein, soy lecithin, acesulfame potassium, sucralose.

theres nothing special about it. they use to put creatine in it too but looks like they stopped. so in the beginning, the "gains" ppl were ranting about came from the addition of the creatine which was just water weight plus the strength gains that comes from it.

i call this a scam
