which muscles and when?

abs back biceps chest hamstrings quadriceps shoulders trapezius triceps

i only need to kno which of these can i work a day? i hear i can do one of two things. either work all these per session or i divide them up. So if i choose to divide them up can you plz tell me how i can group these? i know that some of them can b subdivided into more specific exercises but i dont need it now at least for the moment. I already have some exercises for each of these.

Yeah you can do a full body routine each session or you can divide them up in a way which best suits you I guess. There are some general rules, for example, upper-body and lower-body, pushing and pulling exercising...
 
Thank you for the replies. Tercepent, I'm big by nature and my goal is to loose as much fat off my body as possible. the weights regardless of set numbers or weight help me achieve that goal. im not looking for strength or widening my arms. they're wide enough from the past years when i enjoyed a good workout. now i just want to loose weight. So full body routine it is. As for the number of sets and times per each set, what would you recommend? I don't know what 'starting strength' implies. For now I just want to try out things for a month. Then when i get my body used to all this again i can do supersets or anything else that comes to mind.
