Which is better?

Ive been going to the gym doing weight training every other day, giving my muscles time to rest. On the between days i do cardio, and usually have been doing a 30 minute jog to get it done. Today i did about 20sec sprints for 30 minutes. I was wondering which would be better to lose some BF and get some definition.
 
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training (20 second sprints: ~100 yards flat or ~70 yards up hill, with a 1-2 minute jog/walk in between, 6-8 sprints, ~20 minutes total time), see the HIIT topic!
