Which Is Better?

So we just got one of these, (Picture) It isn't that exact one but its the same thing. But anyways my mom said that it is better than running, because there is less impact or something. I am just wondering if that is true because I was on there for about 45 minutes and I wasn't even that tired after, And after like 10 minutes of running normally I am breathing really hard and stuff. Please, please, pleaseeeee answer this??

Well, it's only as good as you make it. Running is hard on your joints, so your mom was right that biking is a little easier on the body. But, I think people don't get as much out of the bikes since they don't REALLY push themselves. The nice thing about running is that there is no half ass way to do it. If you have it at 7 mph, you are gonna get worked up and sweaty. If you are on a bike, it's very easy to just stroll along at 70 rpms, with low resistance...
