So I'm trying to get used to eating more... I've always been a sparse eater. Some days it's hard to get my meals right when I need them. A few times I've found myself at my last meal with 600 more calories to go for me to reach my target! So what's better: eating a bunch of calories at once in order to meet your needs, or foregoing some of those calories altogether? I'd say it happens once or twice a week like this, and I'm curious to know how to handle it. Thanks :)

Why do you try to eat more? And you should eat as much as you want but about 2 or 3 hours interval between the meals. That way you wouldn't get "overeating" but you will feel full of energy from the food(i hope you arer not eating "junk" food). If you tell me more about what you want with eating more perhaps i will help you.Nevertheless never eat 2 or more meals at once!!!

Have to disagree with this, you need to feed no matter what the amount of meal or time of day. Yes there is optimal ways of feeding for energy needs, but the body is going to need that food no matter what.

Try to do your best to coordinate your program so that this doesn't happen. If it ends up being the end of the night and you have a lot of calories left, eat. The reason being is a deficit is over a period of time, it is not in an instant.

So feed yourself regardless, your body needs the nutrients.

Thanks for your help. I've gotten a bit better at spacing my calories out, but on a crazy college schedule there are still those days when I've only managed to down 700 calories by 10pm! So thanks again for the info, Leigh.
