Sport Whey!?

So i find with my diet it is really hard to even get close to 160 grams of protein i could supplement in A Lot of whey powders and such but i heard its not good for you to use lots of it, is there truth in that?

having tons of anything isnt good. if you need more protein have some natty peanut butter, a skinless chicken breast, and if your truely need the whey protein powders have it after a workout so i can get used right away by your hungry muscles. you can also have some in the morning to get you going but having solid foods is very important, many reasons why and to lazy to list, it just is.

protein powder would be a better choice than bars. bars should only be of limited use because of a history of poor label claims and questionable ingredients.

like Grammaton posted, solid food first. then fill in the blanks with protein powders if needed. one or two servings a day is fine.

Yes, protein bars are full of sugar and some even have trans fats. There are also many on the market that have been recalled due to false label claims.
Try adding some chicken or canned tuna into your diet. One serving of grilled chicken has 20 grams or so of protein. I supplement my diet with one protein powder shake a day, right after my work-out, only because I get bored of eating chicken 6 times a day.

There is no data in healthy adults suggesting that a high protein intake causes the onset of kidney disfunction; in fact there are numerous studies to suggest otherwise. Here are a few:
A) Ann Intern Med 2003 Mar 18;138(6):460-7
B) Int J Sport Nutr Exerc Metab 2000 Mar;10(1):28-38
C) Am J Kidney Dis 2003 mar;41(3):580-7

I'm curious as to what is limiting your consumption of food based protein? But anyway, most protein powders run around 23 grams of protein or so, so two double portions of a protein supplement will get you 92 grams...I would hope that will get you close enough.
