whey protein

im not a vegetarian by any means, but yea im pretty sure its ok because im 90% sure its not from meat. And also, if ur planning to get big, u might have to drop ur veg. ways for a coupe of weeks because whey protein yes does have protein but very little calories. Even just a coupe cans of tuna a day or every other day would be good.

You don't have to stop your lifestyle just to drink a shake...yes, whey is made out of animal products, but you can get protein from nuts and what not. As for something as concentrated as a shake, you can take soy protein.

it depends.. are your reasons for being a vegetarian "moral". if that's the case then it's up to you if you want to use a product made from milk. if for health reasons then again it's up to you.

I am a vegetarian as well and I take eggs.

Whey is an excellent supplement to take. It is safe for vegetarians. It is made from milk.

For you,
(a) Make sure that you buy 100% Whey Proteins jar rather than any proteins jar. It is common to add egg proteins into a proteins supplement.

(b) Read the tin for contents / ingredients to ensure that you are ok with it.

You are at an excellent age to start going to gym. Well done. If you are able to continue with training, diet and life style, you would get amazing results - without having to compromise on your religious beliefs. Anyway, the compromise is not worth it - neither for your beliefs, nor for your health.

Keep reading, keep asking and keep going. You would thank youself for it in few years.
