From what I know, whey is primarily used after lifting to help rebuild muscle tissues faster. However, would it be useful for recovery after cardio such as running/swimming/biking? or would it be better to just drink a glass of milk and save the scope for whenever i lift? Whenever I do any cardio its usually for 40-50 minutes straight for a max around 1:15 hours. I would use muscle milk after running or swimming but that stuff costs too much for me!
