whey and flax for teens?

alright well i am only 13 years old right now but im pretty big for my age (5'10 151lbs) I play competitive football, baseball, and basketball. During the summer i am looking to become quite a bit stronger and also a little leaner, i cant go over 160lbs but im not in amazing condition as it is so i am trying to loose a few lbs of fat and put on a couple pounds of muscle. I have heard that falx oil is really good for you and can be benefital, same with whey powder. Anyways i was wondering if either of these would be bad for someone my age, i am currently doing cardio training with skipping rope, and doing pushups every day (200 or so a day) and taking 1 aday multi vitamins, would it be a good idea to take either of those supplements, thanks alot.

I'm 15 and have been using it for about 1.5 years. Protein is something natural, same with the flax. Protein is just a nutrient your body needs, but while workout out, it needs more of, so protein powder is a good way to supply yourself with it.

Remember this: To gain muscle you need to eat a lot, get a lot of calories, and protein, to loose weight, you need to preform CARDIO, weights will not make you loose lbs.

well explain to him why, LOL seriously that's overtraining because you would be working out the same muscle on too many consecutive days. I would talk to your parents have them take you out to the doc to see if you are too young for what you are planning on. Good luck with your goals

Skip the flax and go for fish oil.
