I'm recovering from 6 years with Bulimia! I've been underweight and overweight and every weight in between.

I want my life back. I guess my current goals are...
stop visiting eating disorder websites
stop binging/purging
stop crying on the shower floor everyday
seek therapy and help
eat a reasonable amount of calories (1500 > calories > 1200)
laugh
try hard in school (but accept failure)
be happy

I also love to talk and make friends. Feel free to post here!! Or just chat. I'm a nice person

[1:50 PM] I'm still deciding on what to eat for dinner. I also want to go for a walk.

Hi Bunny and welcome to the forum! I´m sorry to hear you´ve been struggling with eating disorders for so long even though you´re so young but it´s awesome that you´re breaking free. One tiny point: I may be the only one but the very light text colors are hard for me to read; would you mind using a slightly more intense shade? I hope you find something delicious and nourishing to have for dinner.

oh no I didn't realize I wasn't able to edit posts on here

I'll try to keep my intake to 1 post/day but I love to talk so I might go over sometimes

I ate 2 ice pops (45) for no reason, I think I'll make one of these black bean burgers (200) for dinner. And 3 cups of Portobello mushrooms (60) with some cream cheese (90) and 1/2 an Avocado (117).
=1312 calories for the day
Also I'm super pumped to go on that walk :) It's 68 degrees Fahrenheit and a nice breeze where I live. OK so I'll plan for school and finish a few things. Then I'll walk and then I'll cook dinner.

Much easier to read, thanks! The editing windows here is only 15 minutes due to... something to do with spam, I think. But write as much as you like. This is your diary, after all.
Black bean burgers with shrooms and avocado sound delicious.

Hi, Bunny & welcome to the forum :) I'm sorry that you have an eating disorder. Bulimia is awful. Our younger son had it & hid it well from us when he was a teenager. He took way too long to get help after he left home & still suffers from distorted thinking about his body, & low self-esteem, which is heartbreaking to see. Please get some help for it. I'm glad you have joined us. We like nice people :beating: We are also a very supportive & kind community. Ignore any spam you may see & don't click on links from any new members. We're here to look after one another.

Hey Bunny, welcome to the forum!

No problem with your posts, don't feel constrained in how much you post, just do what you want. That's what this place is for.

I have never had bulimia, but I am a binge eater who was very over weight most of my life. Though our symptoms are different I believe we both are fighting the same eating disorder demon, at some level anyway.

My binge eating has been arrested for the last year and a half, with a lot of help from folks here, I think you will find the same help. I know however that I am never more than 5 minutes away from a binge, so I am staying here in maintenance.

I look forward to following your progress.

Welcome to the forum. You will fit right in here. :grouphug:

We are all a bunch of friendly nice people who know what it is like to have problems with our bodies not being the way we would wish - and are cheering each other on to be active and eat healthily and generally have a healthy attitude towards food.

I would post as often as you feel like... There are no rules - whatever feels best... Over the years there have been days when I have made dozens of postings... Every time you would have edited it - make another posting...

If you are anything like me - some days you do not really want to talk about weight and other days you really want to chat non-stop about it... It is after all better to chat than to eat a ton of food...
