where to begin

Hello all I am brand new to the forum and am looking for some advice. I am a guy just turning 20 years old and I weight right around 180 pounds granted this is by no means overweight but with my body frame the weight is distriputed kinda weird.So I am looking to lose some weight and slim down some while toning up my arms and mid section without getting bulky.But I really have no idea how to go about doing this as I know very very little about weight loss and working out and with all the bad information and weight loss fads out there I have no idea where to begin so if someone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it best regard cheers.
 
First start out making a good diet. You need to be eating smaller portions 6 times daily about every 2-3 hours . Then make a goal, for how much weight you plan to lose each week. It's easier to succeed when you have goals set. For exercise programs for what you are trying to accomplish, I highly recommend Turbulence Training. It is an intense cardio workout that allows you to burn fat while gaining muscle at the same time. This will be a good starting plan , then you can progress from there as you start seeing results.
