Where to begin.......
I was not always overweight I was always one of the smaller girls. Never had a problem could eat and eat and not gain a pound but I was always active then. I had my first son in 1996 I was 18. When he was six months old he got sick. When we got to the ER they called his regular doctor in I new then it had to be bad. She told me he had spinal meningitis and they had to fly him from our home in illinois to St. Louis Childrens hospital. The doctor repeated over and over and over that you do know that most likely your son is going to die. She says she just wanted me to know how serious it was. Well ten days pass he is all better no side affects from it. I called his regular doctor to tell her they were releasing him and she said I had better think God because my baby was not suppose to live. He got meningitis because he had a tiny gap above his nose where the bones didnt grow together and the germ got in that way. :)) He is a healthy nine year old boy today:) ) That was the changing point in my life my thinking changed for the worse. I was always worried about something bad happening to him so in my thought process if we dont get out and do stuff nothing bad can happen. We moved from Illinois to California (Husband in Marines) I keep to myself didnt try to make friends. Long story short I caused myself to get aniexty and turned to food. Then I had my second son in 1999. After that we moved here to North Carolina. Had my third son in 2003. Finally after 8 years of aniexty I have gotten rid of it with no medication for help. Exercise does the trick. I did find out I had a thyroid problem that causes you not to lose weight. But I take meds for that and have it straightened out. Well thats my story...........
