You don't have to lift to lose weight. Simply walking will help.
But I have to really wonder if you aren't still seeing the old you instead of the new you. You was 260 and now are 210. You really can't see a 50 pound difference?
but yeah..1000 calories is WAY too low for your current weight..for most people actually. Maybe you shouild try keeping a food diary for a week and see what you are eating.
i kinda notice, but it isnt that huge of a difference like i was in XL shirts (sometimes they were tight on me, my sides) i wear L now but still use some of my old XL ones that fit well, my pants were 40's and 42's(they were lose tho) mostly use the 38s now with a belt.
i was thinking 50 pounds would be a huge noticeable difference, more then 2 pants sizes. meh
and about the food diary i eat mostly the same stuff everyday,
7-8am breakfast is cup-cup and a half of kashi cereal with 2% milk
11-12pm lunch is after i do cardio at the gym fiber bar and a protein drink
5-6pm dinner healthy choice bowl or a 3servering can of tuna and unsalted cracks
when i do cardio i try to push myself hard (30secs-2mins, on elliptical 200-210strides per min) and then rest. or go faster then normal for a good while (10mins, on the elliptical 170-180strides a min) then rest, repeat.
i also use the other machines like this^^^^^^^^^^(or try too a least lol)
when i 1st started going to the gym i walked there, it's a 5mile walk there and back, its getting colder now so i ride the bike there. gonna have to start driving soon tho the weather is getting colder.
