Sport When to tempt the sweet tooth?

Sport Fitness
Is it true that it's better to eat sugary and food without much nutritional benefit right after your main meal? Is it better for my body if I eat a healthy dinner then my icecream immediately after or wait 2 or 3 hours? Does it make a difference?

Im no expert but i wouldnt of thought it would make a difference.

Do you eat a lot of junk food? tut tut :D

I'm full of regret after having the icecream! It set off my sweet tooth and of course it was followed by a honey crumpet and chocolate biscuit. NAUGHTY ME!

Fruit bars, hell...fruit, jello, even sugar free candies (though don't make a habit of those) are good ways to "curb" that sweet tooth......

i like edys slow churned frozen yogurt, the chocolate brownie version, its only 3 grams of fat and 110 cals per serving, as long as I include it in my calorie counting its never made a difference for me in fact its with the calcium and protein its almost as good as a lean dairy

I thought that was going to be such a great idea, but nearly puked when I mixed it up and tried it. Try making a really thick shake with yogurt and fruit in it. It sort of resembles melted ice cream, so it should do the trick.

Hahaha but I love my protein powder so much I eat it by itself!

Best way to stay of sweet **** like that is just go cold turkey. After a while you forget what it tastes like and you don't care about it anymore. Sweetest things i have now are creatine with dextrose and my protein powder.

That's true, I haven't eaten fried food in over 2 years now and I can't remember what it tastes like nor do I want it!

I remember a time when I cut out all sugars completely. After a few weeks I had a Diet Coke and the sweetness made me feel sick

I love the odd sweet every now and again though :D

I've gone cold turkey on fried foods for over a year now and don't miss them at all. I can't seem to do the same for sweets though, although I will often satisfy my sweet tooth with a Cookies & Cream Muscle Milk. Two or three fat free (albeit sugar full) jumbo cinnamon jelly beans also do the trick.

I honestly don't have much of a sweet tooth. I like ice cream, and chocolate+fruit+nut+spice bars. I also like the least sweet fruits. Except for cherries, and occasionally pineapple. But that's about it. PWO drinks taste vile to me, and pretty much everything sweetened. Honey nauseates me. But I'll eat sweetened coconut until I feel like throwing up. Then I'll eat more, if there's any left. :p

But when I want to do a Rosie O'Donnell, it's usually pork fat that I want. As Emeril says, PORK FAT RULES. With extra old cheese. And crackers.
