When to take it?

Sorry this threads probably been done a few times but i did have a quick search and couldn't find one applicable.

I've been working out casually (3 times a week) for a few months now but alot of things have forced brakes from my workouts like schoolies and starting a new job and stuff so i've only just got back into a routine. But i havn't really seen the results i want so i decided to buy some protein. I got some Musashi Whey Protein.

I know you take it with in half an hour after your workout but do you take it at all on your off days?
 
You take it on your off days if you need some extra protein. It will not do anything on off days except help you reach your daily protein goal. If you can get your protein from whole food do that, but if not you can definitely have some whey to push up those numbers.
 
This is how my week runs.

Mon, Wed, Fri

Wake up at 4:45am get ready for work.
Breakfast: 6 oat brits (read the box, 6 brits + milk has about 29g of protien)

9:45am Smoko at work: I eat 2 Sandwiches both with cheese, tomato and a meat (ham, beef, whatever) and a banana.

12:45pm Lunch Time at work: Another 2 sandwiches the same and another banana.

4:30pm Go Home: Usually eat something small like nuts and have a glass of milk.

5:00pm go to the gym

6-6:30pm Dinner: Whatever Mum cooks up, usually has heaps of vegi's and meat.

9:30pm Bed: Usually have a 500ml glass of milk.

Tuesday and Thursday run the same except no gym.

And Saturday Sunday are alot less structured.

Workout: I usually try to do a full body workout. Using all the machines but i need to try find a good workout routine.

I guess thats about it.
