when to eat breakfast

Hi,

I am not sure where to post this message. So I thought , as I am new to this forum, I'll post in this thread.I feel very hungry after the excercise, so I eat immediately. But I read we need to give sometime between excercise and eating. How much time do I need to take to eat the breakfast after the breakfast. Can someone advice me by what time do we need to eat our breakfast.

Try to eat every three hours or so.

I'v ebeen reading a lot on this. Lyn the trainer (on teh forum) advises to eat one hour after waking, which is what I have been doing and it does help. I have also ready that if you work out first thing in the morning you should do so on an empty stomach. After fasting all through the night you will be tapping in to your fat stores quickly if you exercise on an empty stomach which does make sense but doesn't suit me. I wake up hungry.

I have also been told that you should eat two hours after cv workout, but then an old friend of mine who is a sports science graduate told me to eat within two hours of exercise as it'll ve used quickly and absorbed.

Well I eat within two hours of exercise and never workout on an empty stomach as I feel faint and dizzy. So do what is best for you. Try the different methods but just try to follow Lyn the trainers routine of lots of water, eat 5-6 meals a day (smaller ones) and gives yourself time to rest between workouts.

Hope my views help?

for weight training ive always heard you should eat asap afterwards or else the body MIGHT do something i cant remember whats called:p dig into its own muscle for energy or something,
so ive heard within half an hour after weight training and ive heard within an hour after.. but its probobly different with cardio. after cardio im never really hungry for some strange reason, but after weight training i gotta have food asap because im so hungry.

Eating immediatly following an intense training session is a MUST.
