When nothing works...HELP

I know weight loss gets harder after having kids and as you get older and even if you are on birth control...which I am.
BUT, when you are on a weight loss pill (to help fight against your bodies “set point”), drinking tons of water, cutting nearly all sugars/simple carbs, pushing more protein and exercising nearly daily, you should see results, right?
Been feeling defeated because I have been doing everything right and only saw results in the first week. A month has passed since my first 8lb loss and nothing further has happened for me even though I have been consistent.
Any advice? Anyone been there?

I have been here before a couple of times. Everyone hits plateau's, it's completely normal. During those times your body has become used to your routine already, and you need to switch up what you're doing. Change up your workout completely, switch some foods around in your diet or maybe replace a meal with a shake possibly if you're not already doing that, most importantly don't give up. I also found that during some of these plateau periods I was doing some unhealthy things that i didn't want to acknowledge. (Not saying that you are, just saying reflect on everything you've been doing, make sure you're being honest with yourself because sometimes that's hard during this journey.)

I have thought of changing out my exercise routine. My body used to respond very well to weighted squats, lunges, etc. wondering if that is no longer the case. As for sneaky habits...can’t think of any. I had 2 bad days a week ago (when I felt the most defeated) which involved having two slices of pizza with dinner and half a soda one night and having a margarita the next night, otherwise I stuck to my healthy meals.
I should also mention I was on the Depo shot for a year which then caused me to bleed for a whole month while I was switching to my healthier lifestyle. I have finally stopped and am hoping that will give my body the break it needs to move forward. I am on a new “gentler” birth control and hoping it won’t hold me back with the hormonal shift that will undoubtedly occur.

Hey jamie i hear your struggle but just remember life is a never ending battle your always going to be confronted with tough situations but just know your not put in any situation you cant handle this is just another step in your life you must overcome. A few years back i weighed 220lbs and today i weight 150 pounds still not my goal but damn near close. Its not easy but just know that with the right mindset nothing can stand in your way. I have tried different things throughout the years but one thing that i recommend it works for me its 100% natural and has tons of benefits besides help in weight loss. Hope this can help you get you where you want to be hope you have a great day and weekend may peace be with you Spam link removed
