Sport Wheat Germ

I found a bag of wheat germ at the grocery store, and have been putting a teaspoon in my cereal in the morning, and my oatmeal at night if I eat it. Is that stuff really as good for you as they say?? It wasnt cheap, so is it worth paying for?
 
my food plan is low carb. i do eat lots of fruits and veggies though but no starchy carbs. so.................

i use wheat germ which is mostly protein to make breadish things.

i know its healthy but the reason i eat it is because it non addictive for me and flour based products are addictive for me.

not sure that answers your question but thats what i know about wheat germ.:D
