What's your take...

on supps? Essential, or a must if you just dont have enough of the right food. Right now I'm just taking fish oil, multi-vit and cytogainer (The BEST protein powder, I don't care what anybody says.) since I dont get enough of thoughs things from my normal diet.

They are suppliments not substitutes.
Eat food, and worry about supps later.

As you said, you dont care what I say. However, I'm gonna tell you anyway and I hope you take note.
cytogainer is hardly a protein powder. Its 60% Maltodextrin (sugar).

Why dont you save yourself some money and get a real protein powder and eat some food? sugar is not the answer.

CytoGainer

Can you give me a better protein powder than CytoGainer? If I can find something better than that, I would love to use it. Keep in mind, CytoGainer has dextrose, BCAAS, and creatine and pre-mixed in it. I don't think most other powders do...AND 54 gram sof protein per 4 scoops.

Vandy - Dextrose is just sugar as well.

I dont know what the prices are in the US but here is an example of what I spend compaired to a Cytogainer...

CytoGainer costs £40 for 5lbs.

For the same quantities this is what it costs me to buy each item individually.

Whey protein 2lb - £13
dextrose 1lb - £2
Malto - 2lb - £4
Creatine mono - 100g - £2
BCAA's - 100tabs - £3

total cost of £24. also...
1) individually you get much better quality
2)my shakes have a total of 80g of powder and give 25g of protein and 50g of carbs.

Protein Powder

Thanks for the info r.lewis, and thanks for the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey info LV, ill check that out.

The only supplement I consider essential is fish oil.
