What's Your Fitness New Years Resolution/s?

In 2013, I'll be registering with Powerlifting Australia and competing for the first time. I'll also be trying to fill out my muscle mass within the 74kg weight class, which will require about 7kg of lean mass.

What are your fitness-related goals for 2013 (be it process or outcome goals...NB process goals are always a safer bet than outcome goals).

By April 2013 I want to be down to 12% body fat. More overall toned look especially in back and booty. And be ready for bikini competition by 2014.

12% body fat? Yikes! As a general observation (but certainly not a rule graven in stone), women tend to look about as lean as men when women have 10% higher bf (so, a woman at 20% will look about as lean as a man at 10%, give or take), so you may be able to get into good shape for bikini comps without getting that low....but obviously, you do what you gotta do. Have you had your current bf% tested? Good luck with your bikini competition prep.
Deadlift 2x my body weight!
Chin up 1.5x body weight!
I've never done 1.5xBW chins. Go get'em.

Gain another 10kgs.
Let's hope it's 10kg of the good stuff.
1. Lose that muffin top
2. Get stomach definition
3. Lose 14lbs and maybe some more
4. Eat healthier
Good goals. If you organise your calorie intake for about a 300-500kcal/day deficit (that's 300-500kcal below what you need to maintain bodyweight, which, after exercise, would probably have you eating close to 2,000kcal/day total), you can probably get that weight off over the next 3-6 months, all while getting a lot fitter and healthier.

1.5BW chins, basically chins with added weight using vest etc. They are great fun.

Resolutions, not really me thing but with me getting a new toy for Christmas my aim is to incorporate this into my training making it more unstable to suit my mind.

Life begins for me this year, according to a weird saying. That should mean I am due some sort of mid-life crisis, great song, and should try doing something unecessarily stupid to reclaim my youth. Ridden big bikes travelling already, so it will have to be something exercise related, suggestions are welcome, and I am stupid enough to actually try at least one of them.
