I've been using BSN CellMass and NO-xlpode and I'm sick of paying for them. They are probably good forms of creatine but I'm not even feeling the "pumps" like I used to when I started taking these this summer.
I think I'm done with the NO-delivery hype products. From now on it's just a few grams of CEE mixed in with my protein twice a day.
Can someone recommend a good CEE for me?
Thanks!
I don't use any supplements other than Whey Protein Powder (occasionally), and Flax and Fish Oil, and have been doing fairly well just consuming wholesome and healthy foods, even at my advancing age.
So, I am not one to give advice on supplements on a personal experience level, but I have spent considerable time studying various types of supplements over time, and Creatine is a good choice, and has several good studies behind it to show it can provide some benefits.
I would pitch the NO-Explode. IMO, its utter crap. Save your money.
If you have spend some time studying the similarities and differences between Creatine Mono and Creatine Ethyl Ester (and I hope you did), you should have noticed that CEE tends to eliminate a lot of the side effects that Mono "can" cause some people (most notably water retention, bloat, and some cases gas), but both give the same benefits.
CEE can cost a bit more than Mono, but I think its the better choice to save off some "physical" confusion that some tend to get caught up in when taking Mono.
As far as the best "brand?" I don't really know, since I really haven't researched this area (personally) to give an opinion on which is better.
However, Creatine is a good choice, and will be a "minor" player in your overall fitness goals.
I am sure that one of the other regular members will give their opinion and choices on CEE brands.
If you need more info on Creatine Ethyl Ester I can provide this as well, if you want it, if you need more information before your purchase.
Good luck with your fitness goals.
Best wishes
