Sport What's going on here?

Ok, well since I started this whole eating right, exercising thing (May 1) I went from 142 to 136. Yippy!!! Omg, can i see the difference! My pants fit better and I'm so much more toned in my tummy and arms. I'm not complaining! I know it's probably beginner's progress but I'm happy.

Ok, now here's the problem. You can take a look at my fitday journal

I am keeping a diet of 1500-1700 calories with roughly 40/40/20 protein/carbs/fats (although I usually get more protein than that). So about 20-30 grams of fat a day. The last couple of days I have been starving! My will power has increased a lot so I don't binge and can put it off but man have I suddenly wanted more food! Let me point out that I am very active: waitressing, going to the gym, and horseback riding. If anyone wants more details I'll get into my day to day life if it will help. I don't know what to do. I'm loosing weight really well and am getting stronger and am not plateauing so I'm scared to change anything. But I am sick of being hungry! So here is my question on how I can continue to lose bf/gain muscle. Should I:

1. Tough out my sudden hunger stages and get through it till I reach a plateau and then have a cheat day or up my calories.

2. Increase the amount of calories I take day to day while maintaing the same protein/carb/fat ratio.

3. Change the ratio of protein/carb/fat without increasing my calories?

4. Change the ratio of protein/carb/fat and increase my calories?

5. Have a cheat day then go back to eating how I have been?

I'll be happy to answer any questions anyone might have to clarify things. I really need some help and ideas! All thoughts appreciated!

Oh and I'm 20 years old in case that helps

Being tired generally goes hand in hand with a hypocaloric diet.
Can I make a suggestion?
I would up your cals a wee bit. Also I would increase my fat intake. Your body might benefit from a 40/30/30 ratio. just make sure you are taking in good quality fats. No trans fat or saturated fats. Get those EFAs they will actually help you burn fat! :)

Took the words right out of my mouth niceone. The only other question I have for you calcium is how much water do you drink daily ? You're doing great thus far...keep up the good work :)

niceone - Ok, I'm changing my calories. Before was 1500-1700. today I'm officially making it 1700-1900 with 25-35 grams of fat. I think I'll keep the ratio of 40/40/20 the same right now because it's been working! I do plan on uping the fat a bit and downing the protein if I hit a plateau but right now I'm happy with the fat lose :)

jpc - I can honesty say I don't know how much water I drink. I try to drink only water but I have been having coffee every day along with some diet coke (I tend to drink that while I waitress but have cut back cause it makes me have to use the washroom more  ).

calcium, increase your water intake. Yes, you may have to visit the "loo" :) more often at first, but your body will adjust in time :p
