Does anyone know if it would be better to do one cardio machine for one hr, or multiple cardio machines equalling one hr (i.e. 20 min elliptical, 20 min bike, 20 min walk/run)?

Thanks in advance for the help!

dont think it makes a diff. just try to switch machines as fast as possible to keep your heart rate up(like 30 seconds-1min)

Doesnt make a diffrence IMO, just do what you like, the important part is keeping your heart rate up during your exercise. i would switch it up every time you do cardio but i wouldnt switch to diffrent machines when im doing it but thats just me ;)

i haven't heard of any substantial evidence to be swayed one way or the other during one workout ... however, switching up each day can be beneficial so that your body doesn't get lazy from repetition ... also helps tone different body parts.

oprah does this thing in her program ( i forget what its called ) where she'll be like on the treadmill for 10 minutes then jump off and do a set of squats then jump back on 10 min then jump off and do some reps with dumbells then get back on tradmill etc etc. supposedly it keeps your heart rate up and really makes you sweat! maybe check out her site?

WW do you mean like drills or circuit training something like that? i think i heard her mention that. its good stuff, i have something like it on tape, with plyometrics(sp?)and stuff in it...i love it
