whats better swimming or running

Both........ oh and biking as well. Ideally doing one each day.
 
Running overall burns more calories.

Swimming overall burns calories and workout very single muscle in the body.


My advice: DO BOTH!
 
No matter what you do running works the best due to it works muscles in your body consistantly. While swimming in a certain wait or form may not work all those in running. But does increase your muscular strength espeacially in your shoulders. I also will recomend both. To tone down do running and for swimming to increase muscles in upper body.

He wont hes a good stick. But I must ask myself not being a " manly man " who loves to hiss and strain under 200 kg are squats really that benificial to "normal person" and from what I have experienced doing a degree in sports science the answer is no! I mean what is the point in getting as strong as an ox when the only time you use that strength is in the gym? Why not concentrate on becoming healthy rather than pumping Whey and creatine filled with complex chemical formulas that your body isnt capable of using and breaking down for a health benifit when you can improve yourself in other ways?

Sorry to speil but this is just running through my head as im typing it. Oh and by the way the questions above are rhetorical so comments rather than answers please. I dont want to offend anyone who enjoys and gets a thrill out of big weights so back off big guys.
