Whats a good weight program to do while trying to lose weight???

I am currently doing the TurboFire cardio program by Chalene Johnson and I want to incorporate weights as well. But light weights bc Im trying to lose weight (I have 100lbs to lose) but I know building muscle helps burn more fat. I was thinking of doing Jillian Michaels Shred it with weights, it looks like a good program.


Any tips??


I also have a gym membership so if anyone has any goo workouts i can do on the machines???

That's great that you're thinking of adding weights to your weekly workouts! I really can't comment on workout videos, because I don't know very many... do you know of anyone who you could borrow one from to try before you buy it? And as for your gym, does it have a weight circuit? Free weights?
 
There's a lot of good programs you can do, experiment and pick the one you like the best. This is huge if you're going to stick with it.

I was also looking for the same type of program. I came across the vfit membership.

They have step by step videos in small weight workouts and kettle bell workouts. They have tons of challenges and information. Im a new member and still not even half way through on what they offer.
 
HEy try using the Plank device. The plank is one of the best exercises for a flat, toned stomach because it works all the muscles in your core, including the rectus abdominus (the "six-pack muscles" you can see), transverse abdominus, internal and external obliques, hips, and back . it will help reducing your weight
